Well met, strangers! I’m Kwilgok-once a dinosaur racer, now the best guide in Port Nyanzaru. I’ve traveled up the River Soshenstar to the Aldani Basin and back. I’ve visited so many corners of Chult and can tell you there’s no land more beautiful and dangerous. This is my ankylosaurus, Deadly Treasure. Quite a prize isn’t she? Follows me everywhere. We cost 6 gold pieces a day, with payment for 30 days upfront. Very expensive, yes, but worth it, I promise you.
The titles were just for flavor. You could ignore them completely and be done with it. I figure it sounded better to say he is the Magician Bob the Powerful instead of saying Bob is a 5th level magic user. Some of the titles did not work well for characters. At 5th level the fighter was called a Swashbuckler. That was not fitting for a sword and board fighter in plate armor.
Thanks so much for this, this really helped!

FOURTEEN pages about the mystery D&DB titles... Apparently, there's a lot to explore! @_@
*edit* and hey, look at that... just two more posts before I can level up!
yeah it would also motivate people to post meaningful content that would get more likes than clouding the forums with junk.
On mobile phone the forum doesn't even have a "Like" button, though.
Or a way to tell if someone replied to you.
So "Likes" would be a bit unfair for those of us who browse mostly on mobile. :-)
That Would be Sweet
Soo this is my first post,
but I got the adventurer title form purchasing the master tier subscription at least, so I think that counts a bit too somehow.
Those are Druid titles.

OOHHHHH this makes SO much sense now XD I was so confused. Thank you!
but how would they award them
would they just see if you have a character of the class
Hi everyone! I'm working up the will to finalize my signature, so... I guess this will be the signature for now
so you get one of these titles at random? or do you get the whole first row after 10 posts?
You get the whole row after 10 posts. I found this very helpful in determining what titles are for what classes: https://dungeonsdragons.fandom.com/wiki/Level_title
Please check out my homebrew and give me feedback!

I wonder if there are more titles beyond the 100 posts ones.
Does anybody know if there are more titles and how to unlock them?
So this reply gives me one point?
Finally, I was wondering about that for a looong time.
Yep, you can slowly work your way up to being a Racaraide. Would have been nice if there was a little explanation on it on the account page.
Seeing this thread and the titles makes me very confused about how the first edition worked tbh
That's rough buddy

Ok, thanks for the helpful info.
