Double bladed is not the same as a double edged blade. Double bladed means having to entire blades. The stats of swords represent the usage of both edges.
Also scimitars are an example of a single edged sword; not all of them are double edged
Great point Davedamon. So is the double-bladed scimitar the only double blade? Where can i find a list of weapons that can be used with the revenant blade feat?
The [feat]Revenant Blade[/feat] feat is exclusive to the double-bladed scimitar in terms of officially published weapons (which is why the Revenant Double-Bladed Scimitar is the only item of its kind on D&D Beyond), though its wording would let you apply its benefits to homebrew double-bladed items as well.
Can we not link feat tooltips on the forums? Feels like an oversight...
Since swords are sharp on both sides, shouldn't a sword which has the slashing property be considered double-bladed? Greatsword in particular!
