I've been asked to run a one-shot game two nights hence for a pair of friends. I won't have much prep time, beyond pulling together a couple of pregens.
Assuming I can draw from anything on D&D Beyond, can use my laptop, and have 4-5 hours of playtime, what adventure would you recommend?
Character levels aren't really a concern. Just looking for something with a story that can be told and concluded w/in my time allowance, and run with a minimal amount of prep.
Don't worry so much about an adventure, that amount of time can only run a single encounter.
I recommend Ghosts of Saltmarsh. It has some short adventures, but also has tons of single locations with detailed encounters. There are multiple encounters per location, or you can swap in another location to pad time.

Excellent point, and good suggestion. Thanks so much!
