I can't find where it says what kind of focus a ranger can use. What I mean by this is that of the three focuses (arcane, druidic, holy symbol) Does a ranger use.
On a closely related note to me needing to ask this, I honestly think DDB needs to overhaul the search system to be more user friendly. Just my 2 cents.
And just to be clear, Rangers, RAW, are not allowed to use casting focuses. It's simply not a feature of their class. A component Pouch, however, is treated the same as a spellcasting focus for gameplay purposes, but in-story holds a bunch of different random crap to be used in spellcasting.

A component pouch covers everything the ranger needs. As part of the action you can pull the specific component out you need to cast the spell.
