I'm looking to make a choice of Magical Feats as there are a couple of cantrips I've been unable to access.
I've tried upgrading my character and adding each of the above. When spells appear in the character gen and level up screen, very limited options are on offer. and no cantrips.. Sometimes the spells aren't available to select in the spell tab of the spells sheet either. Can anyone advise?
Ritual Caster and Magic Initiate are completely different. They're both great depending on the type of campaign that you're playing in, the type of character that you're playing, and the makeup of the rest of your party.
Magic Initiate gives you more cantrips and a first level spell, and if you pick it and you have a high enough wisdom or charisma score I'd pick a class other than wizard because you'll end up with 4 wizard cantrips anyway.
Rituals are amazing for role playing and I don't believe that you have the ability to cast spells as rituals as an arcane trickster so picking that up will give you great out of combat versatility, especially if your DM let's you find more rituals when you adventure.
I prefer ritual caster, since to me rituals ooc sounds better than 1 lv1 spell once a day and cantrips. You already have cantrips, so for a more rounded character my recommendation would be RC. That's just my opinion though, and I'm sure more cantrips can always be a good thing.
Magic initiate is nice for adding an extra spell to your known list as well, especially since Arcane trickster's are somewhat limited on which spells they can learn.

My Arcane Trickster is about to turn 4th Level.

Other than that... which one is better and why?
