is there a site where there are examples of lizardfolk speech? I can only find one or two examples, primarily "this wind brings cold" if there is no site, do you all have an example?
Yeah, they tend to speak in the active voice and speak about actions rather than feelings or conditions. Their native language is draconic so anything about the draconic language from various Draconomicons should be legit as well.
It's one of those things where I feel like the designers didn't want to give too strict of a guideline, so that players wouldn't generally feel like they were doing it "wrong" if they didn't match the examples perfectly. I imagine them generally having something similar to "caveman speak"... no flourish or nuance, just bluntly stating facts and referring to themselves in the third person.

Basically, everything they say should be short (as able), literal, and thorough. "We will hunt prey to eat." "Strike the enemy to death."
That's about all I got. My warm blooded mammal brain has a hard time thinking like a lizard.
