There won't ever be a way to do this unless Fandom and Wizards of the Coast decide to jointly share profits (with less money coming in to each company for the goods and services they provide), only sell physical books sealed against vendor wishes, or work with a vendor like amazon to have digital books come with physical discounts.
This question gets asked a few dozen times a day, is all over the forums as people decide to ask rather than literalyl take a few seconds to see if it has been asked a few thousand times in the last couple years.
Asking a question like this is on par with asking "do I get a discount on burgers from Burger King, if i buy them from McDonalds?"
2 companies, neither owned by the other. Both offering similar goods and services, but not the exact same.
It's currently only possible for the (Physical) Essentials Kit. You get a digital code for it and you also get a 50% discount for the digital copy of PHB.
thanks for the reply any discount on both is great the PHB will be nice at 50%
If you buy the D&D essentials kit from major retailers (and some local shops) there should be a code for 50% off the PHB in it. Not worth it for just the code alone but the essentials kit does have some other fun stuff in it at least.
Is there a way to get both the digital and physical at maybe a discount when I buy both?
Like a bundle or something?

All the other books are, bought separately.

Full of rice, beans, and bad ideas.
You sure can. By the digital here and then go to your local game shop and buy them there.
Least ways thats what I did. Actually ended up with more digital content then physical.
