New DM here, looking to get a screen but not sure what my best options are or which is better/most improved. I was thinking the essentials kit as I don't have any physical books yet, but I usually see the reincarnated screen most games I've played in.
If you have suggestions for a screen you use or ideas for custom screens I would love to hear them!
I've had good luck with reincarnated, I don't know what is on the essentials kit screen.
That said part of the reason you may see the reincarnated screen slot is that adventure based screens tend to have module specific content on them, also I've only ever seen advertisements for the reincarnated screen.
I like the essentials kit screen, except that it’s pretty flimsy. I don’t expect it to last a whole lot longer, I started using it as soon as it came out.
I’ll get the reincarnated when this one starts to fall apart.
The screen from the Essentials Kit has good information on it and, in my opinion, has one of the better looking artworks on the player side, but it is intended as a starter screen and not a long-term solution, as it is merely made from cardstock rather than heavy cardboard like the official screens.

Just wanted to say thanks for the input everyone! I ended up getting the essentials kit and I love it a long with all the goodies. Will definitely try to get my mileage out of all of this as its my first physical D&D purchase before moving onto the reincarnated/next screen.
If you decide to get physical books, go with the core bundle of the Player's Handbook, Dungeon Master's Guide and Monster Manual. It will come with a slip case for all three books and its own DM screen, which will be better than the one that comes with the essential's kit as I do believe it is the reincarnated screen. Outside of that, I have purchased everything on Beyond. If you haven't done so, redeem your key code that comes with the essential's kit to unlock the kit on Beyond (with some extra goodies that the physical doesn't come with) AND a 50% discount on the PHB.
Anyway, I digress. For specific modules, when I can, I REALLY like the ones that Gale Force 9 puts out. My group is currently going through Descent into Avernus and the screen is AWESOME with module specific information and related artwork on the player side that never fails to impress. Also very heavy and sturdy compared to most other DM screens I've come across that can be had for under a Jackson.

I'll put in another vote for the Essentials Kit, but more for all the other goodies you get with it, both physical and on D&D Beyond.
Used the reincarnated screen for a bit. Don't use a screen anymore. Over time things get memorized.
