I am looking for a Waterdhavian Noble family who primarily worshipped, or worships either Lliira or Sune. Or at the very least, has connections to those deities. Reading about the noble houses, I came across House Moonstar, who has strong ties to Selûne and links to Shar. However, I can't find one who has or had connections to either Lliira or Sune.
Would it be fair to say that Selûne and Sune are similar deities? Since Lliira became an exarch of Sune, those who worshipped Lliira might also worship Sune, since Lliira is her exarch, and possibly Selûne, due to her similarity to Sune? I realise that this probably won't matter too much for this particular character, but I like grounding my characters in lore, and creating backstories and lives for them even if it is only for me in the end.
So, what do you guys think? Could I take the Moonstar name and say that my character is the first generally good person in centuries, to carry the name Moonstar, but instead of returning to the families roots of worshipping Selûne, he choose Lliira instead because it was his dream to become a Joybringer, and make people happy - before the followers of Loviatar intervened that is?
I am curious what you all think. Does this make sense from a lore perspective?
Cheers

Looks like Talmost is your best bet. Fashionistas for Sune, typical alignments May allow your good PC to be more of a black sheep.
