Are we able to add sub-races to player characters?
I am DMing the Strahd campaign and I have one player who has become a revenant and another player playing a Vistani. What is the easiest way to add these races traits and abilities to a PC? Any ideas?
I don't have a readily easy answer for you. The ability to homebrew this content is a planned feature. Certainly, this will make things a lot more enjoyable once your group is able to input exactly what they're looking for.

I guess in the meantime I’ll just create some homebrew spells and use them as abilities.
