This is an odd question, but I wanted to know if there was any way to transfer characters between existing Campaigns that are all shared under the same DM & main user (myself)?
For background, I'm about to start up 2 different campaigns and I created a random "Test Campaign" as a placeholder while my players and I are still sorting out things like who will play on Wednesday and who will play on Saturday, plus generally just making sure everyone gets along. The plan is to eventually filter the whole group into two separate parties. However, everyone's creating character's they're interested in and I was wondering if there was a way to avoid them just remaking the characters in the permanent campaign slot? Hopefully this makes sense.
If I'm understanding your question the answer is yes. You can have players leave the current campaign and join the new one. As the DM you can remove them from the current campaign and then just invite them to the new campaign.
