I've been wondering: which online addition of the gunslinger archetype is the most commonly accepted one? I've noticed 2 prominent ones, the first being on this site and the second being on the Dungeon Masters guild site, but I'm not sure which was used in the Critical Role campaign and I don't know which is balanced better. Can someone help me out with this?

As mentioned, both are the same. Matt Mercer's homebrew Gunslinger fighter subclass and the Blood Hunter class only have special placement on D&D Beyond due to an advertising partnership between Critical Role and D&D Beyond. See my answer here that touches on that: https://rpg.stackexchange.com/a/129156/33569
Both the gunslinger and the blood hunter are pay-what-you-want on DMsGuild, and freely usable in the character builder on D&D Beyond (the "Critical Role Content" slider must be enabled on the first page of the character builder). DDB contains the most recent version of both, generally after they're updated on DMsGuild (though Matt might have a way of coordinating with DDB to make sure it's updated on both platforms around the same time).
For Blood Hunter in particular, Matt recently substantially revised the class, and the updated version was temporarily only available as a paid product with all proceeds going to charity. After that charity period ended and the updated version was made pay-what-you-want on DMsGuild, the class was updated on D&D Beyond as well. As a result of all that, the updated "2020" Blood Hunter is still listed separately on DMsGuild from the most recent version before that, which is version 2.1 from 2018.

All I know is that the gunslinger on DDB was added in partnership with critical role for the exandria setting.
