Now let’s get this out of the way up front. I know this isn’t possible! I know that D&D Beyond, Roll20, and Fantasy Grounds are all different platforms, none of which are owned by WotC.
Second, I know that even if it was an option, it would take a while to implement, which would set back other things all three sites are working on. I know this isn’t going to happen. It’s just wishful thinking on my end. Anyway, on to it.
With the whole virus thing, and quarantine happening, most people that are playing D&D are doing it over sites like Roll20 or Fantasy Grounds. Trouble is, a lot of people that invested into D&D Beyond don’t have access to any of the content on those sites we’ve paid for. Once again, different companies, I know. However, I think it could be cool for the three of them to work out a deal to temporarily link purchases between the three sites. Sites like Fantasy Grounds would still need you to actually buy the program. But if you buy it or you’ve already brought it, you’ll have access to content you’ve brought on any of the three sites. All purchases on the sight are digital, so it’s easy to track who’s brought what. It would not have to be forever. I am completely fine with all of that stuff disappearing when the whole COVID-19 thing has blown by. However, considering that as of right now, I’m stuck to using SRD content for my game on Roll20, is really annoying, even if I can work around it.
Once again, I know it won’t happen. It would take too much time, it would not be profitable enough, and if it was implemented, it would take too long, and probably wouldn’t go down the way I suggested if it does happen. It’s just a fantasy I dreamed up, and thought would be cool.
Well I don’t have a game where I’m a player right now. The game I’m in I’m the DM. However, I have plans to use the Beyond20 extension when the game where I play gets up and running. But like I said, I can work around it. It would just be a lot easier if this happened. Like I said, not asking for this. Just a fantasy I dreamed up.

Nothing stops you from using your Character sheet in DDB and do Roll20 via Beyond20
