At the moment I have a lot of documents for towns, NPCs, maps (handdrawn), etc. Now I am only looking for some way to manage all these docs. Both printed and digital.
I looked at sites like WorldAnvil, but I dont want to pay a lot of money just to organize own content.
Do other DMs have any tips and tricks for me on how to manage all these things?
Well, as someone who uses and likes World Anvil, I was going to suggest that but...
Lots of people swear by OneNote, and I do use it for a bunch of things. It's fairly straightforward to use. Also rather limited in what it can do... but it may suite your purposes. You can make lots of tabs for different things (say, characters, monsters, etc.) and you can make links and such from one doc to another.

WOTC lies. We know that WOTC lies. WOTC knows that we know that WOTC lies. We know that WOTC knows that we know that WOTC lies. And still they lie.
Because of the above (a paraphrase from Orwell) I no longer post to the forums -- PM me if you need help or anything.
Hi everyone,
I am a DM doing my first homebrew world.
At the moment I have a lot of documents for towns, NPCs, maps (handdrawn), etc. Now I am only looking for some way to manage all these docs. Both printed and digital.

Thanks in advance.
