now if i actually use these calculations, i end up with loxodons that are very very very massive, the biggest one being over 4 tons. the calculation is wrong per say. it should be...
Weight = (Height modifier x weight modifier) + base weight which gives you a much more realistic weight.
Don't know if the other places are saying that way. i know the exemple of the human in the PHB is clear about the equation. but somehow i think this error got into the final product.

My problem is... you always answers for them as if you were working for them, but your name is not in red and thus you are just a user like i am. so yeah... i'll wait for an answer on their part.

The publishing relationship between WotC and DDB is very well known here. There’s no reason for you to be so rudely dismissive of someone who’s helpfully giving you correct information.
But if you really need to wait around for an employee to come personally tell you that DDB can’t make arbitrary changes to what WotC have written, knock yourself out.
The staff at D&D Beyond, myself included, do our best to answer as many questions and inquiries as possible. However there are many more wonderful users than there are staff, so it's very hard to keep up! Fortunately many of the questions that come up can be answered by our community as they've been questions that have come up before! Davedamon has correctly answered this question, which is not surprising as he is a longstanding member of our community and a moderator for our Discord, Twitch, and YouTube. D&D Beyond accurately mirrors the content published by Wizards of the Coast. If Wizards of the Coast should publish any errata documentation for this content, we will update D&D Beyond with those changes.
It currently says...

This is indeed how it's printed in the physical book, so until WotC publishes an errata, D&D Beyond will have to match what's printed.
You're correct in that the Player's Handbook lists the formula as being Weight = Base Weight + (Height Modifier x Weight Modifier)

I was simply pointing out that until WotC issues an errata, DDB can't change anything on the site

This was really all you had to say, no reason to be rude to someone who offers up his time to try and help others. :)
If you want feedback only from a Mod and not from the community, don't post in a thread, use PM.
