This is an interesting and fun idea I had and I didn't know where to post it so here it is:
If you were i a campaign where the entire party was playing monsters, which monster would you be and why? Feel free to add any interesting quirks if you'd like. Ignore CR ratings as well and assume all monsters are on a semi-even playing field.
Personally, I'd play a very fat beholder. Obviously beholders have a lot of versatility but I also think that roleplaying the paranoia of a beholder and not trusting a soul would be fun. Maybe I'd even try to enslave the party, who knows.
Illithids, because they are my favorite of the monsters. Especially if I'm playing a "rogue" Illithid that broke away from the hive mind and is doing everything he can to avoid being reabsorbed by the Elder Brains.

Trying to get your physical content on Beyond is like going to Microsoft and saying "I have a physical Playstation disk, give me a digital Xbox version!"
A neutral succubus or incubus seducing mortals sounds fun. It would also be cool to run a love business to match couples, help people to brew love potions, teach people how to be more romantic, etc., playing more into the social aspect of D&D. Their ability to telepathically communicate with beings they charmed could also be useful as part of the business to instantly deliver important messages across vast distances and dimension, or during a combat scenario if the party wants to split up in a dungeon. Not sure if they can give Draining Kiss without causing pain, but it could be an interesting to use it in a good way to help euthanize dying patients so they pass more peacefully; I think it would be really cool to incorporate the ability for a bittersweet ending at the end of a campaign or in some other plot points.
Not exactly a monster, but a slightly magical talking cat with the ability to infect anything with a magical Toxoplasma gondii sounds cool. And any creature infected will be permanently charmed by all types of feline beings, unless of course a feline being attacks the creature, then the creature would stop being charmed by that feline individual.
Yeah, I'm with CosmoTheGrey. It may seem cliche but running a dragon lair encounter is one of my favorite things as a DM. Planning out the lair so there's all sorts of devious stuff to mess with the players. Figuring out any underlings, worshipers, the effects the lair has on the surrounding environment. There's so much you can do with it. It's so much fun! So yeah, Dragon :)
Then the best monster of them all... Commoner! (It's in the MM.)

Human. Male. Possibly. Don't be a divider. My characters' backgrounds are written like instruction manuals rather than stories. My opinion and preferences don't mean you're wrong. I am 99.7603% convinced that the digital dice are messing with me. I roll high when nobody's looking and low when anyone else can see.🎲 “It's a bit early to be thinking about an epitaph. No?” will be my epitaph.

My house rules
The worst monster of them all... Elves!
No player races? Hmmm.

I also have to say Dragon, but to be more precise:
A Gold Dragon, who shapechanged her form into a Highelf/Sunelf and tries to go unnoticed while living among elves.
I'm actually writing a story about such a dragon right now. xD
Can I play Tiamat?
WOTC lies. We know that WOTC lies. WOTC knows that we know that WOTC lies. We know that WOTC knows that we know that WOTC lies. And still they lie.
Because of the above (a paraphrase from Orwell) I no longer post to the forums -- PM me if you need help or anything.
