Does anyone use Roll20 on their tablet? I’m using an iPad and about to play on Roll20 for the first time. I noticed in the App Store it has 1 star and most people say it doesn’t work. Any advice for using on a tablet? Have they improved the app?
I tested out Roll20 straight from the website and I had little to no control.
The app is just a "companion" application. It will only show character sheet, handouts, a limited chat interface, and a dice roller. You can't see maps or move tokens on it. Outside of the app, you won't be able to access Roll20 through the browser very well since they don't support mobile/tablet browsers.
Well for anyone wanting to use Roll20 on their tablet I may have found something at least. I connected my wireless keyboard and mouse through Bluetooth to my iPad and I am able to use the Roll20 website more effectively in this manner. So that may be an option though I have yet to actually see how well it REALLY works, it does seem to work though.

Oh ok, thanks.

I far prefer to use my desktop for Roll20 and Discord on my Ipad. Makes for a great combination.
Yeah I would prefer that as well, having trouble with the desktop.
