I have stumbled upon solo campaigns, and have enjoyed them so much. But my character is dear to me so I carry that character over to the next solo campaign with all equipment gathered.
But now my question is what happens between standard multiplayer campaigns? Do I leave everything behind and start with a fresh character?
If you are doing pre written campaigns there is one campaing Rise of Tiamat that is designed as a continuation of Hoard of the dragon quenn so that is often done with the same character. Also sometimes the DM will create a homebrew continuation of the story but yes usually at the end of the campaign most often you start a new character.
If you are particularly attached to your character be aware that it is quite possible that your character will die in the middle of the camapaign, adventuring ins a dangerour business. Normally if this happens you create a new character that can meet up with the party to continue the story if this concerns you seak to your DM about how they will deal with character death.

Hi, new player here.

I would say yes as your character has progressed through these solo campaigns but it is usually a decision for the DM to make!
Makes sense to me. Thanks
