Printing Magic Items

Is there any way for my players to print out information on the magic items I give them? As is, when you print out the character sheet, it doesn't give you any information on what your magic items actually do.

Export character and save to hard drive.  Open .pdf character and edit .pdf manually, save and print.

Its the only way I have found that seems to work.  Any changes I have made on the export page disappear when I save the character.

 The saved edited file can then be emailed to players and DM if you are playing electronically.
