I love Digital, but I print them and keep them in a notebook. I like to save each character sheet from level to level because then I can read through them and remember some moments from the adventure. The digital is just a very neat and clean way to keep a character sheet, and sometimes I forget something that is on the digital sheet. If it was my own creation, I might forget it for a long while.

Paper vs Digital, both have their ups and downs, for example, paper character sheets take a lot of time and effort to write everything in, and if you have bad handwriting? OOF- Meanwhile, digital you can type your own custom background or pick from the selections (acolyte, sage etc). It's also easier to change things such as level and more, since if you use pen to write you'd need to get a new sheet. But there is a plus to paper character sheets, they have no limits, you could have weapons in your invortory not in dnd itself, I'm in a campaign, and we used paper sheets and it's less efficient but better because my cousins and I have special weapons, weapons that we're created for this campaign apps like DnD Beyond woudln't have my Sword of Xander etc. I'd say paper wins, but its possible you can try to find a website where you can print you character sheet and you type the info in.
PS: Sorry for the lack of organization
But here at 5 reasons paper is better: 1. Endless possibilities nothing is holding you back to put your own creations 2. You can easily search up certain races and just write down their info, whilst dnd beyond you have to pay money for certain RACES 3. DnD is a game of being with your teammates irl, its not a digital game, 4. IT LOOKS COOLER 5. JUST ITS EASIER TO HAVE A PHYSICAL COPY THAN HAVING A DIGITAL ONE
Tend to use both. As paper is faster imo for changes mid session. But I used digital whenever referencing things, spells, items, etc. Both as DM as well.
