My horrible addiction to making characters has led me to wanting to create a warforged.
The warforged in cannon; was designed by my current artificer character; a dragonborn alchemist. The alchemist is a bit of a black sheep in dragonborn culture, being timid, shy, and reserved, he also fancies himself an artist who draws and paints in a style similar to Tim Burton style, also known as German Expressionism. The warforged's design reflects this; having long limbs and comparatively big hands and feet. He is proficient in alchemist supplies and incorporates the use of alchemist fire in combat.
Now this seems like a decently fleshed out character; but there's only one thing missing: the class. I have no idea what class I want this alchemical construct to be, I want something interesting and fitting for this and I'm not sure what class to pick. If anyone can help, please do. Also, if anyone can give suggestions for a name, that would be great.
I love your character concept, a creepy warforged created by an black sheep dragonborn alchemist is a neat idea! I'm thinking of either druid with the circle of the wildfire subclass, warlock with the fiend or you can go maybe sorcerer with the dragonic bloodline that deal fire damage with a bit of reflavouring.
The name of the warforged would be something dark and creepy theme, since you are trying to make a tim burton style, maybe Ignis or find a random german scientist that works on alchemy or chemistry projects? I name my warforged after famous names, objects, talents, animals or mythous.

Guessing Artificer is no go since you'll want something different, and a straight martial class a no cause it wouldn't be fitting.
I'm thinking blood hunter order of the mutant (It's based around alchemical concoctions) or maybe forge domain cleric.
Would these fit your character build?
