I couldn't find any charts that match the Forgotten Realms to real world countries I could only match one continent which is Kara-Tur to Asia really, I wouldn't know which continent I could match Faerun to and really half the entire globe of the Forgotten Realms hasn't even been made in depth and detail. Why did you want to match the FR to the real world?
It's more a case of countries being designed to work as settings for a certain literary style of adventures, where that literary style is often also set in a particular society.
Many countries in Forgotten Realms seem to match real world countries. Does anyone know where to find a chart that matches the two sets to each other

You could always homebrew your own world rather than using the Forgotten Realms to better suit the real world and real countries.

I know the continent of Maztica correlates heavily to the Aztec and Mayan cultures
The Chult region could also be towards that culture.
