Yes, but all of us are unlikely to ever know what that reason is unless everyone else in the group comes here to give their side of the story. Which is quite unlikely.
After much, confrontment I was finally able to talk to the DM and the group, and they did not my roleplay style for my 2nd character (chaotic neutral), there were less problems with my first (lawful good), which angers me because the DM never told me he did not like the style, I would have stopped if there was more communication
Depending on your style you might have triggered some very sensitive subjects. One of my CN players tried to torture a bandit to get some info, which made another player very uncomfortable.
It's bad that they didn't talk to you about it, but maybe try to be upfront about what kind of character you want to play and ask if there are certain behaviors or subjects you should avoid in the future. :-)

Well, CN is a dangerous zone. Usually it's played as Chaotic Arsehole. Can you elaborate on what you RP'd that they didn't like?
I have kicked people for having terrible BO and clearly not showering / brushing their teeth.
I had to tell one of the kids to start wearing deodorant and he got butt hurt.
Can't enjoy a tabletop game live with nasty people in the same space and everyone's suffering.
Thats why I luv roll20/ VTT games, I can smoke my weed, drink my beer and DM without having to deal with people complaining about smoking and drinking in their homes. And if I think your a moron, I can just boot you from my monitor and game and not worry about any physical repercussions.
To the OP, you have been told why you got removed from the group, though you don't like their reasoning. You didn't like their handling of the removal from the group. I don't know where you would want to go further from this. No one likes being told to leave a group, be in TTRPG, Bowling, a job etc. In this particular case though, based on the way you say they treated you, why would you want to go back? "Find a new group" sounds like the best solution for you.
It's normal to feel "burned" in this situation, and maybe a little anxious about joining a new group. I'd argue for transparency with whatever new group you found. Say, "hey, my last group left me feeling a bad way here's why" and then something like "So, if it's cool if after the first sessions or two you all give me some feedback so I can make sure I'm contributing to us all having a good game here?" Mature players should "get it" and be happy to help you become one of the party. This happens, not to everyone, but it's something you can move past.

True. That makes sense.

If that was truly the only reason for them to boot you and not even talk to you, then find a different group.
It can definitely be difficult when RP styles collide, but if the table is not willing to talk it out with you then find a group that is.
WOTC lies. We know that WOTC lies. WOTC knows that we know that WOTC lies. We know that WOTC knows that we know that WOTC lies. And still they lie.
Because of the above (a paraphrase from Orwell) I no longer post to the forums -- PM me if you need help or anything.

This is why a good session 0 is critical. Find out where all the hiccups will be ahead of time.
