Anyone been able to successfully sideload the Dndbeyond Player Tools app onto a Kindle Fire? Not available in my sideloaded Google Play Store and keep getting parsing errors when trying from 3rd party sources.
Yes. I have successfully installed it on the newest Kindle Fire HD 8 Plus, and on a two year old 8 and a 10 for friends.
I wouldn't know where to start on troubleshooting your issue, but I used "Amazon Fire Toolbox" to set everything up originally.
Edit: If your Fire is really old, the app may not be available for you because your system might not meet the minimum specs or version requirements. Make sure everything is updated (Google services, etc.) Good luck.
Awesome, I will have to check out the Amazon Fire Toolbox and maybe that will help. My HD 10 is just a couple years old, so one should hope it is good enough, but we'll see. Gotta check the OS version and then maybe a factory wipe if it's still having issues. Thanks.
10th Gen HD 8 Plus. Sideloaded Google Play Services and thazzit for me. No rooting involved. Got Stadia on it, even. So many things work fine but aren't available through the Amazon App store but can be managed through Google Play Services. It's weird. (Very few things refuse to recognize the tablet as a "verified" device and will not run from the Google Play Store, but only very few.)

Human. Male. Possibly. Don't be a divider. My characters' backgrounds are written like instruction manuals rather than stories. My opinion and preferences don't mean you're wrong. I am 99.7603% convinced that the digital dice are messing with me. I roll high when nobody's looking and low when anyone else can see.🎲 “It's a bit early to be thinking about an epitaph. No?” will be my epitaph.
