Land vehicle examples (not all inclusive): Carriage, Cart, Chariot, Sled, Wagon
(There are also fuel-powered vehicles in some adventures and sources, but I do not have access to that content.)
EDIT: If it has wheels that it uses to travel on the ground, it is likely to be a land vehicle. XGtE goes into further detail about how Tool proficiencies can have a greater effect in the game.
As for the proficiencies, is it giving you a standard Intimidation proficiency and asking you to choose a 2nd one?
Human. Male. Possibly. Don't be a divider. My characters' backgrounds are written like instruction manuals rather than stories. My opinion and preferences don't mean you're wrong. I am 99.7603% convinced that the digital dice are messing with me. I roll high when nobody's looking and low when anyone else can see.🎲 “It's a bit early to be thinking about an epitaph. No?” will be my epitaph.
Either your background gives you a choice of proficiencies ([backgroundHaunted One[/background] being one example), or you've already assigned one of the proficiencies your background is supposed to give you earlier in the process. Usually as a class proficiency. When you take a skill proficiency at level 1 of your class that your background also gives you, the background instead lets you pick any other skill proficiency you want.
Can someone tell me what this means...
Why does it say skills Proficiencies: Intimidation, then ask me to choose from the drop down menu underneath?
Same question for Tool Proficiencies: Vehicles (Land)... And what does Vehicles (Land) mean? Just confused by the term Vehicles...
Thank You!
