Is there any place I can do to or a book to buy that has the entirety of the dnd world (continents, cities, creatures best found in/from locations)? Loving this new found curiosity, Lol!
This is a difficult question because, unfortunately, there is not just ONE book. There's many. If you are starting out and want the best books to get started with.... you NEED the Player's Handbook and Xanathar's Guide to Everything. If you plan to DM, you will also need the Dungeon Master's Guide and the Monster Manual. These four books will give you more than enough to plan a campaign and get most all the information you could ask for. If you already have these, and still crave more, that's when you should invest in a bundle.
If you want the "encyclopedia of D&D"...that would involve buying the Sourcebook Bundle here on Beyond. That would give you the best savings on "encyclopedic" volumes and keep you from buying the adventure modules. But, if you want everything, the Legendary Bundle is a good one to buy. A steep investment, but would get you everything you need.
The biggest benefit of going this route if you are starting at none is that any money you spend on individual books will be applied to the bundles down the road when you decide to upgrade. So, if you purchased all four books today, that's $120 at $30 each. When you go to buy a bundle, you will get $120 off that bundle. The bundle price is discounted already, and gives you discounts on future purchases. For instance, if you decide to buy the Legendary Bundle, it gives you an automatic 15% discount on future purchases! REALLY nice for when you can't wait to invest on preorder purchases.
Hope that answers some questions. If not, ask more and they will be answered.
