So I was wondering if there are any good adventure writing software out there? I know I can just write it in Notes, but with good UI and things like chapters kinda motivates me. This is a personal motivation so please don't say that I'm too lazy to be a DM. It just gives me inspiration.
It's not for adventures specifically, and it works better on the Mac than the PC (although there is a passable version for the PC) but you could look into Scrivener. It's way more powerful than Notes or Word. I think they let you try it free for a month. The one caveat is that it is first and foremost a Mac program... the Windows program is usable but doesn't have most of the newer features of the Mac version.

WOTC lies. We know that WOTC lies. WOTC knows that we know that WOTC lies. We know that WOTC knows that we know that WOTC lies. And still they lie.
Because of the above (a paraphrase from Orwell) I no longer post to the forums -- PM me if you need help or anything.

Be creative: It's amazing what you can do with MS Excel (or LibreOffice Calc).

I write my adventures in word as the headers and formatting exports nicely to pdf

I used to do everything in Word, but I moved to using OneNote a while back for the ability to group and organize content.
