You were responding a post from two years ago? It seemed odd that you would do so, and so it seemed like you were responding to the post from the day prior instead. I apologise if I offended you, that wasn't my intent, but it's also important that people understand that the codes are no longer issued - they used to be, but are no longer. The post I'm talking about is this:
I bought the physical version and there's no qr code or anything similar
If you read your post in light of that, particularly "you'll have access to [DOIP] here on D&D Beyond", then you'll see why I felt it was important to correct it - that was a major selling point (along with the Beyond Icespire Peak Trilogy), and people need to understand they no longer get it, preferably before they buy it, if their purchase was contingent on that content. The rest of your post was excellent summary of the adventures, though.
Ah - I didn’t actually realise this was an old post! I see now it had been surfaced because of a recent reply, but I didn’t read the date on the original post. In light of that it makes sense you thought I was replying to the more recent replies, and I agree it is important to know new copies of the kit don’t include digital codes.
Sorry I was a bit short. I’ve had a few posts on various forums recently where I’ve put in some effort to be helpful and only got criticism in return, and I was feeling a bit fed up and defensive. Thank you for taking the time to fill in the context I missed.
Question. I just got the physical Essential Kit for Christmas, so , no code came with it sadly, but my question is, can I play the kit yhe old fashioned way and then get the follow up adventures on DDB? , or do I have to ha e it all on DDO in order for the app to run it correctly?
I just bought ˜Essentials Kit˜ from amazon(CA), and no redeem code to digital version of ˜Dragon of Icespire Peak˜. The content i saw before my purchase was that would receive this code and this was fundamental point to decide buying it. Just in this topic i found that they stopped sending it. Its really frustrating not having the code to use it on a digital edition and on DDB.

That is an issue that you have to take it up with Amazon and have them adjust the description. I recommend returning it, and trying to find an OLD PRINTING of the Essentials Kit in stores. If a box mentions something about a redemption code, it is the OLD PRINTING, and that is the one you want to get.
Keep in mind the NEW PRINTING of the Essentials Kit does NOT come with a code. If the physical box mentions nothing about a redemption code, then it is the NEW PRINTING WITHOUT THE CODE, so do NOT buy that one.
