Howdy all...So, Im not sure which tier I need to subscribe to on DnD Beyond to unlock all of the possible online race options, customization options etc. I want to be able to access all of the newest race and character creation options available online. How do I achieve this? Thanks!
The subscriptions are not what you want if you are looking to unlock content. You need to buy the books. Each book that has something you want can be bought in parts (for just the options you want) or you can buy the whole book at once.
Subscriptions let you do things like share your content with others who are in your campaign, make more characters, and so on. But they don't get you any of the content you are talking about like races, classes, and the like. Those come from buying the books.
Yes, again, if you already bought them somewhere else. DDB is not WOTC but its own company.

WOTC lies. We know that WOTC lies. WOTC knows that we know that WOTC lies. We know that WOTC knows that we know that WOTC lies. And still they lie.
Because of the above (a paraphrase from Orwell) I no longer post to the forums -- PM me if you need help or anything.
Hmmmm, well, that's a bummer. I am a book guy and have paid for the books already. It's too bad they couldn't partner up somehow so that they could offer a code to redeem digital content on something I have already paid for. Makes sense though if they are their own company. Pencil and paper it is!! Thanks!!

You could add everything from your books as homebrew to DnDbeyond, and use it that way.
It's a lot of work, but can save you money.
