The current promotion is gifting DDB stuff to other DDB users (and getting upcoming special dice from doing so). Seems to be perfectly in the spirit of the season to me.

Human. Male. Possibly. Don't be a divider. My characters' backgrounds are written like instruction manuals rather than stories. My opinion and preferences don't mean you're wrong. I am 99.7603% convinced that the digital dice are messing with me. I roll high when nobody's looking and low when anyone else can see.🎲 “It's a bit early to be thinking about an epitaph. No?” will be my epitaph.
The prevalence of the nickeling and diming attitude is more disturbing in my opinion. If we flip the relationship the other way, how would you feel if your boss asks you to work on Christmas day for half pay? Should not workers work for half pay, or even for free, in the spirit of Christmas? It is only eight hours of work, and workers are probably not doing anything anyways besides eating and lazing about.
There xmas sale is usually around black friday/cyber monday and this year all books were 19.99. They also regularly have 20% coupons pop up. The only special right now is the free dice if you buy a gift.
I came to the market with a stack of christmas cash, thinking of buying the sourcebook bundle to complete my collection, but the lack of any sort of sale is making me reconsider this and I'll prolly just grab a book or two... disappointing
Same here. I remember the deal being pretty good last year, so I have been saving up for the source bundle. Sadly, I can not justify the current price with my budget. I will probably just keep saving in hopes of some future deals.

So, you are saying that you missed or ignored the Black Friday deals that were what, a week ago, and are upset that you cannot a discounted Christmas gift.... for yourself?
Pardon my saying this, but I am not really sure that particularly Christmas-y....
Well, more like a month prior at that point. Given that they didn't do substantial bundle discounts this year, I guess they were disappointed this time too...and it won't be happening in the future, either.

If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.
But you replied to a thread from last year, where users were citing that no good deals were available. I'm quite confused with this.
Let's please remember to check thread dates before continuing the conversations, as this one was 12-months aged. Locking thread, as the topic now concerns a different point in time.
But Wobbing was posting from a perspective that never existed...in our timeline. They say last year there was a Christmas sale, but as has been pointed out, is venting their frustration addressing onto a thread that's actually complaining of no sale at that time in this time line. We shouldn't neglect space/time anomalies 'less we stifle our comprehension of the multiverse. Rather, we should do what we can to orient Wobbling to the timeline in which they now exist, and once they're integrated, do what we can to exploit any variances in knowledge they've brought over from their parallel dimension. I mean, we all play in a multiverse right? Can't be that hard to take game skills and apply them to reality, at least this reality.
Aaaaaannnd the space-time continuum is shattered as MidnightPlat posts in a thread after it's been locked. Forget the timeline, looks like we're headed for primordial chaos once again. Fasten your seatbelts!

I find the lack of Christmas discounts disturbing

Sometimes it takes arcane force and a labyrinthine resource network. Others, just noticing "hey, door's open."
