It’s annoying when you’re searching spells or monsters and half of them are ones you can’t access. I usually go into the advanced filters and choose the sources I own, but as I buy more, I keep having to find them all in the list. Is there a way to filter by all the sources I own, in one option?
If you open the Advanced Filters tab you'll see that you can filter by Source. Not Source Category, just Source. Then you pick the books you own and apply the filter.

There's no checkbox for 'filter to owned sources' or 'filter to sources I have access to' (in case you have content shared with you through a campaign). What you can do is use the option to filter by source, select all the sources you have access to, run a search, and bookmark the result to use as your new starting page when searching. The filters are part of the bookmarked URL, so you'll only have to update that bookmark as you acquire new sources.

I'm pretty sure that's what pavilionaire is doing. Unfortunately we can't save the filter settings (unless I'm missing something) so he has to do that again and again and again. Permanent/saveable filter settings seem like an excellent suggestion for a feature to be added to DDB.

Yep, this is deeply annoying and people have been asking for years.
I own five or so source books, I do not want to scroll through a list of all books just to check the ones I own in the encounter builder, for example. Such an annoying waste of time.
Not to mention that I often can't quite remember if I own a book on D&D Beyond or not, or what its proper title is.
I have general searches saved in my bookmarks. For example, I will filter sources for the ones I own when I use the monster search, and save the url. That way, I only have to do it once for each category. idk if you can do it for the encounter builder though.
The devs really need to get on this. Mark the books you have access to in the sources section owned or shared. If it true that people have been asking for this for years, it makes me wonder why it has been over looked. It cannot be all the difficult to mark the books you have access to.
If they didn't do it the way they are now, people couldn't have their screens filled with content they can't use and realize they need to put more money into the system to make it really sing.
It must be obvious because everyone is behaving as if it is obvious, but where does one find "Advanced Filters"? I don't see it in or around the Search field or on the Results page other than the round default filter buttons.
Not sure on PC as I’m on my phone right now but if you are looking for monsters you go to the Game Rules menu>monsters. When it loads you have circles for Beasts, Aberrations, etc. below that a search box for Monster Name, then Advanced filters is visible below that. On PC it might be off to the side. I don’t remember

This site is growing more and more unusable as the sources and third party content grows while not adding any way to filter content by owned source books without manually selecting EVERY. SINGLE. SOURCEBOOK. THAT. YOU. OWN...
Seriously reconsidering my subscription unless something is done.
Good news, something is being done. They are literally rebuilding the entire site so it’s more stable and easier to add new features. Will the feature you specifically want be one of them? Who knows but you’ll have to wait and see
Maybe I'm being cynical, but I don't think they want to make it too easy to filter out content you don't own. It would be passing up another opportunity to keep showing you content in the hopes that you will buy it.
