Hi all, 

I am starting up a group for Rime of the Frostmaiden and my group are using the secrets, one of which that was drawn was the Doppelganger. 

I have tried to homebrew a race for that, and it does not show as available (I have full content sharing and my player has homebrew content enabled), and I cannot personally choose it as a race for an unassigned character. I have tried accessing other creators' homebrew content with the same non-result. 

Two things: has anyone managed to do this successfully, and if so, how?

And the second thing: when a new book comes out with this sort of thing as an option, would it be too much trouble to make the race available as an official option.

Make sure it's in your homebrew collection, not just your homebrew creations. Also, on a side note, if you're sticking to the exact Rime wording, it shouldn't have any class skill proficiencies or stat increases. 

My work around was to tell the player to choose one race legal race and use that stats.
