Yoshivert555 : I first thought of a green dragonborn, but I browsed through the different races and the one that looks the most like a yoshi is the lizardfolk. It's a green lizardfolk. For the "555", it's looks like "666" (the number of the devils), but it's below 666. Why not a warlock of a creature of a unusual plane.
Lizardfolk Warlock of the Great Old One.
(but why I don't choose a "cloaker name" ? I want be a cloaker)
I am Mordecai, and I guess I'll do the character I had in mind when making the account. I am a rough halfling battlemaster who specializes in hand to hand combat and brawling. I am cold or rude to strangers, but with my party I open up and become extremely loyal. No threat scares me or will stop me from achieving my goals, even when I am hopelessly out-matched and out of my element.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past, I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone, there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Just curious, since your profile indicates you know of the pugilist, what made you choose battle master over it?

Because it's official content, probably. Not many DMs allow homebrew classes.

I was thinking along same lines, battle master would be good for a brawling/martial arts, ( samurai could be good for a moxie-fueled fighter, fighting spirit is swinging haymakers ), champion would work decent but kinda boring, just thinking out loud :).
A human fighter named Bob who attuned to a magic ring that teleports him to a random location in the multiverse every 96 hours and then says "BOB HAS ARRIVED!" He hates it. So far, he has teleported 52 times.
I am a Centaur Monk who is trying to break the speed of sound. "24 miles to go" is him saying he needs to move just 24 miles more in the span of 1 second in order to break the sound barrier.

Traveling 24 miles in 1 second translates to 86,400 mph speed (if I did my math correctly). According to a quick glance at wikipedia the speed of sound is around 767 mph (so you would reach almost Mach 113 if I did that math correctly too).

Somerton basically means "Summer-Town", so my character would undoubtedly be a summer eladrin. My first thought was that they'd be a druid, but maybe something more urban would be better for the town bit of the name, like a rogue or artificier!
I like the idea of a Mastermind, sort of de facto Kingpin whether they're the official leader or not, "It's Somer's Town."

Plaguescarred was disfigured by the Spellplague that struck the Realmspace on the Year of Blue Fire in 1385 DR, when the diety of Magic Mystra was killed. There are troglodytes in my living room and cloakers in my basement.
Not sure why I have the captain planet theme tune in my head after reading this but OMG the nostalgia feels are real.
A caffeinated nerd who has played TTRPGs or a number of years and is very much a fantasy adventure geek.

Well...Funkbas is literally funk bass. So a pure lore bard with an exceptional sense of timing and playing in the pocket.
