Discord voice chat, mix of roleplay and combat.
Setting: The campaign is set in the world of Keralia, a world similiar to our own, but one where magic plays an often destructive role in shaping the history of its people. The campaign will start in the center of the Hertzland Empire, a chaotic realm of often warring princes and feudal kingdoms dominated by humans, though other races are very common throughout. At the time of our campaign, tension is building as various factions begin to push forward with their plans. The campaign will likely see the party travelling throughout Empire and beyond, sometimes getting dragged into the political and magical conflicts that are festering in the background.

The standard DnD 5e races, classes and rules apply, but I will include certain homebrew monsters, items etc. The pantheon of gods is not set in stone yet, and I'm happy to include deities that you've already got listed as part of your character. Hometowns and unique places from a characters past can also be added in. The campaign has a slightly grim-dark edge to it, where violence and death are commonplace, while betrayal and cruelty are not uncommon. I would say the tone I'm hoping to aim for is more like the Witcher, but I'm no way near that talented. There will be plenty of challenge, but I'm hoping to incorporate mystery and more complicated plots elements than simply smashing monsters.

I'm starting a campaign, but have space for extra players. Looking for spellcasters, rogues, bards and druids, any level of experience can apply. I'm happy to work with players to build a character.

Hey there, I really like the sound of your campaign, and the dark edges are my thing, and I'm looking for something more complex story driven with character and less about going from point a to point b crushing heads.  I'm older than Taliesin, and played a bit when I was a kid, but got back into it through friends and CR in 2018, but looking for a group that isn't my regular people for some fresh energy.  I've played an elven arcane trickster rogue and gnome artificer, and would love to play out either of those characters, esp. the artificer, or would be happy to play a druid.  I'm good with a diverse inclusive group of people and aware that age matters to the experience, so an ideal group for me would be with players >25.  Are you planning to play every Sunday or just some sundays?
