Game: D&D 5e - Candlekeep Mysteries Group type: Online Experience: New players welcome, prefer some video/stream experience Location/Timezone: Eastern US Schedule: Wednesday 7pm Roles sought: Any players welcome Game style: Casual and Roleplay.
Hello!
I am currently sitting with an open seat for a campaign starting next week (3/10) to explore Candlekeep Mysteries. The game will be streamed live on Twitch so I do ask that you have experience with being on camera for a game. We use DND Beyond for character sheets and rolling, Google Jamboard for battle maps, and Zoom for the call. Discord is used between sessions for networking.
Players are progressive and welcoming and expect the same. I can run with 3 but I thought I'd put this out in case there was a potential good fit fourth out there. And yes the book releases on 3/16 but we are meeting on the 10th for Session 0 to make up characters, backstories (as much as you have at 1st level) and laying out ground rules and expectations.
Hello! I think I could be interested in exploring this further. I'm new to the 5e, but have prior experience with 3.5e. I'm on Eastern time, and Wednesday Evenings should work for me. I'm not too versed with twitch and streaming, but I'm open to learning that if it means finding a solid group of good people to play with. Feel free to reach out to me on discord if I seem to be a promising candidate, and we can pick each other's brains further to see if this will work for everyone. My discord is MantaBro#1833
This sounds like a ton of fun. I have a decent camera (c922) and some decent lighting (knock off elgato) so the video quality is pretty good and I use a blue yeti for my mic. I've been playing for about 4 years now and am a huge fan of roleplaying and the improve that comes from it. Nat 1s lead to some of the best situations! I'm also on the east coast so the timing works great. Let me know what other information you'd like. Feel free to PM me on here or add me on discord: TheGrimace#8366
I have never played before but would really like to! This game seems like fun and I do have some experience being on camera and wouldn’t mind it at all! I am super open to meeting the other players and forming some friendships!!
Happy to participate. I'm a generally casual player and DM, and would love to meet new folks and participate as a player. I've got some experience with 5e, and do use D&D Beyond to manage character sheets for a game that I run with family & friends. I also use Roll20 to provide a digital battlemat (projected to a TV) and visual supplement for the game, which is actually in-person (roughly once per month, on sundays). I am on the west coast, but work remotely - I don't think there will be any time conflict issues.
I've not participated in twitch live-streaming, but am open to it. I use a Surface Laptop 2, which should meet all the video technical specs required. I've got access to additional cameras, microphones, and echo reducing equipment and software as well, as needed.
I have used Discord in the past, but am not a frequent user. My username there is ElPat0#0176. Please feel free to contact me at your convenience.
Now this sounds like a lot of fun. I’m new to DnD but have about 20 years experience in roleplay. Been playing around with a few funky race-class combos lately and I think I’ve come up with some decently fun ideas.

Hey all, thanks for the responses and interest. I've sent out a few PM's to people and I'm trying to remember all the trick's to discord. Old dogs, new tricks and all that. One of my big concerns going into this is to be sure that the player group is one with some experience either in a streaming platform or with content creation. Everyone at the table now is someone I've seen stream, seen their YouTube or gamed with in person. I'm really gun shy about unknowns because you only get so many strikes on Twitch.
If you're still interested and have some YouTube vid's up, or other things you've done that would really help me get a feel for the fit.
Looking at the Candlekeep game, I have feeling that we will have seats available after the second or third adventure. A great way to get to the table (and on the stream) is to help us get to know you! We have a community discord as well you can join. Links are in my signature below. Or PM me with a discord contact and we can get talking.

Hi there,
I would be interested in joining. How long do you expect the campaign to go on for(realising the book hasn't be released yet).
