Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online Experience: Around half a year as a player, almost none as DM. Location/Timezone: ACST (Central Australia) - GMT+09:30 Schedule: Would prefer to play on weekends. I can currently do any time between 9:30 AM and 9:30 PM ACST (midnight to midday, GMT+0) on Saturday and Sunday without too much hassle. Any frequency from once a week to once a month is okay, depending on what the other players can do. Roles sought: Looking for around 3-4 players. I do not currently have a group, so there won't be any other players. Game style: I'm planning on playing a homebrew, more casual and adventure-based game. I'd like to focus on the roleplaying aspect more than the combat side, though there will also be combat. I will be using a homebrew world as well, though I may use some content that I find online for adventures and things (possibly reskinned a bit).
Further details (I'd like it if you read these too before posting, please): I would prefer to play with newer players, and I consider myself at least experienced enough to teach somebody who is completely new to the game the basics. For what digital tabletop to use, pretty much anything is fine. Roll20, Fantasy Grounds, Foundry VTT, Tabletop Simulator, just doing it with screen sharing and a paint program in Discord -- whatever is most convenient for everybody. Either voice chat or text chat is okay, depending on what is most convenient for everybody. Also (since it will probably end up coming up in the game anyway and I'd rather not invite somebody only for them to be rude when they find out), I'm a 21-year old trans girl. (She/her pronouns please) So if any other LGBTQ+ people (or any other minority) out there want to join a group, you're welcome to join mine and not have to worry about discrimination. And since I feel like I should nip some other potential problems in the bud, please join with the intent of respecting myself and the other players at the table. Please do not do anything that would make the other players feel uncomfortable, or would just in general be considered a social faux-pas. So as a general rule of thumb, don't do anything you wouldn't do in front of your parents. Lastly, as I've stated before, please bear with me when I struggle since I'm still not very experienced with DMing. And there may also be other players who are not experienced with the game, so please be patient for them as well.
If you want to apply, you can either reply to this thread or add me on Discord (Osura#1620), whichever you prefer. Thank you.
Hello, Im 23 and in the UK, avalable all day monday-friday and from 6pm-1am(GMT) weekends. 12-19:00 CST. If these hours are possible Im happy to play any amount of times/week month etc.
Hello there, my name is Zul, short for Zulkiflee. I'm 22 years old and from Malaysia.
I would say I have a 50-50 skill range for DnD; my experience with the game is not much (Only a year really give or take) and I've mostly been the DM in my group. Although very loose playstyle (as in not using spell components which I regret sometimes) of the game and homebrewed most of the campaign (including the map of the world). So yeah, I wouldn't call myself experience with "legit" (non-hombrew) DnD.
I'm actually looking for a group to play as the player. I'd be delighted if I'm able to join your group and I hope we can learn much from one another.
(haha, silly me, I forgot about talk about my schedule; I'm free most weekends and on Fridays)
