I have wanted to play this game for a long time, but I've always been too intimidated to get into it because it seems so complex and I don't want to be a burden... But I've decided to lose my fear of looking like an idiot and see if I can find a group that can help me grow with them. I know it's a big investment, so I'll include some info about me below, and if you think I could fit with your group (and you have the time/patience to mentor me) let me know :)
I am familiar with RPGs (albeit not tabletop ones) and I have researched the basic rules of the game, so I'm not completely unprepared. I've watched a bunch of the WASD20 videos, and created 3 characters to practice the creation process. My 3 characters are a human cleric, a wood elf druid, and a tiefling bard, so if any of those fit especially well in your group that's a plus! (More background on each of the characters can be given on request).
I am originally from California, but currently living in Italy, so my time zone is CEST (GMT+1). Parlo anche l'italiano al livello B2, quindi sarebbe possibile giocare anche in un gruppo Italiano. I am free evenings after 20:00 my time and weekends. I am moving back to California in May, so after that, my time zone will be PST (GMT-8).
I am female, 31 years old, and my non-game-playing hobbies are gardening and crafting. I studied psychology at university. I am very bubbly and talkative, no point in hiding that because you'll find out anyway, so if you're super-duper strict/serious it's probably not a good fit. I'd prefer to find a stable long-term group that can help train/mentor me, but I am also open to one shot games to help me practice.
Let me know if you think I might fit well into your group :)
Hello, I am a newer dm working on a homebrew campaign with some friends on discord. I'm looking to expand a bit and further diversify the world I've made. We are all patient and are needing a bit of flavor! We play to have fun and can be semi-serious at times but generally tend to stay laid back. We have a party of 4, and I would like to see how a 5th would fair.
