A bit more about me: I'm new to DND and a fan of Critical Role. I've been watching it for the past few months, currently on episode 44 of campaign 2. So, all that I know is from watching the experts play and I love it to bits; which is why I'd like to be a part of an adventure myself. 
What characters would I like to play: I don't have a character sketched out yet or a character sheet ready. I do have some ideas for what I would like to play: 

• A not so intelligent or charismatic Goliath Monk who happens to be a mason too. I haven't chalked out a background story for this one yet. 
• Charismatic, intelligent, wise and cowardly Half-Elf Bard who jumps into a song every now and then. Again, no backstories yet. 
• Intelligent but not so charismatic old human cleric with a drinking problem. Yes, no backstories for this one either. 

These are just some characters I'd like to play. Its not a fixed thing, I might change them or come up with new ones. 

What I'd like to do in your campaign: I want to give my character a purpose or a goal that ties in with the story that the DM creates. So not only does the character follow the narrative but also contributes in a way that helps create the character's story too; if that makes any sense.
