The Order of the Chalice Knights is a UU ministry (and thus LGBTQIA+ friendly) focusing on the transformative power of role playing games. We're looking to get together up to 5 groups (called Companies) of 2-5 players, running D&D, Scion, WoD/CoD, Fate and/or any of a number of other systems as part of weekly video-chats. We currently have 3 established groups.
If interested, post your availability, what systems and playstyle you prefer, and we'll try to match you to others to form a company of knights (this is not the only place we're advertising for this).
Current Companies
D&D games are currently using our Sultanate of the Seven-Score Cisterns setting (feel free to ask), though new companies can use other settings or game systems. We'll establish a new company if there are at least two players who don't fit into the companies below. Feel free to apply for a group.

FAQ
What do you mean it's a ministry? What does UU mean?
The Order of the Chalice Knights is part of a 501(c) religious organization, the UUFM. The Order exists as an expression of the UUFM's values, namely that fantasy, creativity and socializing are positive spiritual forces. Joining games does not require religious affiliation of any kind, nor will any ever be required.
UU stands for Unitarian Universalism, which is a liberal anti-dogmatic and non-theistic religion that advocates personal dignity, democracy, the right to dissent, and environmentalism. While this isn't likely to come up in play, we are, as an organization, dedicated to the UU Principles. If acknowledgement of, and respect for, all genders and races, stances on theism (including atheism), dissent, democracy, or environmentalism, is a problem for you, this is not the group for you.
Can I play an evil character? Absolutely. Anything going on in-game is fiction. We do tend to limit in-game activity to roughly PG-13, though individual companies may set other limits. Just try not to be a murder-hobo.
Your GM is paid, am I expected to pay? No. The GM is paid by the UUFM. You will never be asked to pay, and there is no church-like 'passing the plate'. Though donations are always welcome, they are not required. Players are invited to contribute in other ways if they like, such as occasionally running a game session, proof-reading game material for publication, recording something for the Youtube channel, or anything else a player might come up with, but this is never mandatory.
What do you mean 'Companies'? The ministry is stylized as an Order of Knighthood, and a group of knights is called a company. Each company is a different 'table' of players. Along the with the idea of a Knightly Order, individual members are, Dame _____ , Sir ______ or Syr ________ (for non-gendered, intergender or gender-fluid knights), on those rare times we use formal address.
Definitely. That's helpful too, since I just had one person PM me from the same time zone, and I wasn't sure if I'd have anyone to match them with. Preference for day or night?
I would be interested in joining I'm in GMT -6. Saturdays will work best for me on 2100 my time. So if that can be worked with. I play both pathfinder (both editions) and D&D 5e so whatever I can play works for me. Not necessarily the most experienced payer so I haven't got to try many playstyles but I'm up for anything.
1 player; multiple decades of gaming D&D but skipped a few years of 5e; prefer a good mix of RP and tactical combat; timeframe to play is EST, 4-7 pm, M, W-F. I like to start at low levels and tend to play up through high levels, given the choice. I'm familiar w/ UU and am aligned (all puns intended) with the general tenets.
Positives: I am 5e proficient. What else...I'm smart, logical, love vocabulary (but can't remember the words I learn), love character development and seeing my character's goals and aspirations be reflected in the game (i.e., my character is actually apart of, and force in, the world). I also have good hygiene and can play at most times after work (PST) or on weekends.
Negatives: I live in the PST time zone and I can't spell worth a darn. I'm also impatient with circular impossibilities.
Currently stationed in Hawaii but will be moving back to the North East in August. Can play anytime saturdays. Sundays usually busy around 3pm Hawaii Time. I love to play D&D, i use roll 20 and D&D Beyond. Also extremely open to Discord or Zoom groups. If you need any more info please let me know. I have SO many characters made so i can fill pretty much any role.
Lochlae, stdurr & BearSpirit92> We've got 3 games starting at 7pm EST (2pm HawaiiI think), Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The Wednesday one is Scion and the other two are D&D 5e. We've also got 8:30am Thursday & 9am Sat, both EST.
BearSpirit92 > Stationed as in the military? I ask because that sounds a bit familiar. One of our players in the Wednesday evening game is from upstate New York and was stationed in Hawaii for a while. Purely a matter of curiosity on my part.
Ok, I'll add you to the Sunday group. I'm hoping to post some entry info today. On Sunday, near start time, I'll post a meeting link here. We've been using Google Meet and their dice roller. We use a few different free google products.

Interested. (PM'd requested info)
Could you post your availability, what systems and playstyle you prefer?
We're 3 players, based in GMT+08 or EST+13. We prefer 5E, no specific playstyle. Are there still open slots?
Definitely. That's helpful too, since I just had one person PM me from the same time zone, and I wasn't sure if I'd have anyone to match them with. Preference for day or night?
We prefer night, but we can play during the day if need be!

I play 5e and am available Saturdays in the evening. I am on EST. What other info would you like?
Anything else you think is appropriate.
I'm currently working on blocking out hours to accommodate as many people as possible. If you haven't gotten a response yet, don't worry.

PM for details if that's enough qualification?
Positives: I am 5e proficient. Negatives: I live in the PST time zone and I can't spell worth a darn. I'm also impatient with circular impossibilities.
Well those first two describe me as well. I'm not really clear what the last one means.
What's your availability?
PST anytime after 6ish. Weekends are also an option.

Work my own hours, available most days and evenings, aside from Tuesday nights (8 pm PST on), which are a night I DM.
I prefer D&D 5E, with at least moderate RP. Let me know!

Sunday looks good for me.
1) What is the next step?
2) Do you need my Discord tag?
3) What online system are you using -- Roll20, etc?
Ok, I'll add you to the Sunday group. I'm hoping to post some entry info today. On Sunday, near start time, I'll post a meeting link here. We've been using Google Meet and their dice roller. We use a few different free google products.
