Game style: This will be a high adventure ongoing campaign that meets weekly. Elements of horror sprinkled in for fun. I try and keep the rp/combat ratio at about 50/50 but can go either way with the group dynamic.
Hi there! My name is Flip and I want to take you on your next adventure! I have been running games online for 6 years now but have been a DM since the dark days of the 90's. This will be a paid game at $10.00 US per session per player via paypal. I run for 3 hours with a ten minute break in the middle. We will be using the outstanding Foundry VTT for all maps and as a paid DM I have put tons of time and cash back into my games. Animated and interactive battlemaps for lots of eye candy as well as the cool factor in watching your attacks come to life with character animations as well. Swing an axe? Watch the axe fall! Paladin casts smite? The axe *glows*! Now I don't use all this window dressing for a lame story. You will find your background woven into the game with your characters choices actually having an impact on the world around them. Lots of intriguing npcs to either hinder or help you in your mission as well as tests of courage that you must band together with your fellow travelers to overcome. We will start out with the new CandleKeep book( I have been feverishly making maps for) and likely end up North in Icewind Dale, or perhaps a journey to the South to Baldurs Gate. Maybe by chance the mists will suck you into the oblivion that is Barovia. The choice will be the parties as you aren't pigeonholed into playing just one module. Explore the world! Character creation will consist of a 27 point buy with all character sheet management done with dndbeyond. Anything published is ok to use with the exception of Tashas on approval. No UA. This game will run weekly, please do not apply if you aren't able to commit to a weekly game. First game is free however to make sure you dig my style. New players very welcome, I love to teach the game. To apply please tell me a bit about a character concept you have. This will be an over 18 games so tell me you are old enough. We are here to play dnd and have fun, anything toxic towards another human will not be tolerated, let me know you are good with being good to everyone at the table. Let me know you have a good internet connection and a set of headphones with a mic.
