Campaign: The Drunken Goat
"You have travelled to Elub, a small but busy coastal town on a recently discovered frontier. It sits not a days travel from a massive valley full of danger, mystery, and magic. It's rumored the valley was formed in the early ages by a fallen star. The valley and outer region sits atop a large island. Little has been explored. Few return who venture out."
Hello! I would like to join this campaign. I am not 100% new, but I haven't been able to join a campaign yet. I can be awkward at times, but I always try to have fun!
My character is a Bronze Dragonborn Warlock named Sorus Tintreach. He is a dragonborn who was raised by dwarves who cared for him and taught him how to fight. One day, he wakes up in an unknown land with nothing but his dwarvern father's axe. With nowhere to go, the dragonborn made a pact with a demon so he could reunite his father and his axe.
I would like to join your campaign. I'm newish to the game since I haven't been able to find a group. I'm a dude who likes to talk a lot and gets along with people easily.
The gnome of the hour would be Nyx Gear a rock gnome monk scarred by a demons flames as he fled from his burning village. After getting brought in by a person who he calls father. He was taught many things and was shown by monks at the nearby temple how to fight. Before leaving home he was told to obtain all knowledge there is or will be and to take revenge on the demon who scarred Nyx many years ago.
Hi there ~ I'd certainly like to throw my hat in the ring. I'm not settled on playing any one specific character, in most group settings I like to wait and see what needs to be added to the group so I can fill any gaps (classic flex player). I'm newish to playing D&D myself, though I played back in college and I've watched several tabletop game shows and podcasts for fun, so I'm very familiar with it all, and I do play some VtM tabletop games with my friends it's just a different system.
Nokk Brittlebone - A goblin raised by a band of wild thieves that eventually met a messy end at the hands of 'True Heroes'. Healed from near death by a kindly Cleric, Nokk was taken in and shown a better, more moral way of living. Every day is a struggle between his more base instincts to steal and cheat to get what he needs, and meeting the moral expectation and guidance of the man that saved (and eventually raised) him. Nokk is best suited for thievery, deception, and trickery ~ but he wants to be actively better and do good in the world, even if it isn't his first instinct at times. He may steal something, but eventually donate it to an Orphanarium or local beggar once the guilt sets in. Due to not being able to have a very stable home or form of employment, Nokk flits from job to job, some good and some 'bad'. He's not very discerning when it comes to work, but does his best to make up for it where he can.
Avenli Shivarr - An Elven cleric or druid currently on the hunt for meaning and purpose after having to leave her homeland due to family strife and drama, she's trying to find a way to make her way in the world but finds it difficult to blend in with more 'common folk'. Raised in extreme wealth and privilege Avenli never had to scrounge or fight for anything, but she also did not fit in well with the complicated social politics of the upper echelon of Elvish Society. Often withdrawn and accused of being 'distracted' or 'absentminded', Avenli finally found some semblance of True Purpose in nature/divinity, and now is pushing herself to be more than someone served on a silver platter all her life. She is not snooty but may not be familiar with some terminology, customs or other meanings of lower caste life. She seeks depth of meaning and purpose and at her core, to serve some greater good beyond just herself and the mundane beats of day to day life.
Hey there, I'd love to play some more. I've never used Foundry but learning it seems great, I have played through Discord before, and I am semi-experienced player.
I've been wanting to play something a bit more martial, so I was thinking either a Paladin or a Fighter. I don't have a preference on which. I know that isn't much, but it's late so I don't have much time to put into it tonight. I can spend time tomorrow putting together the character if you have a spot still.
I would love to join the campaign if there is still room.
Character wise I have one that i have been wanting to play. They are basically a rebellious monk who ran away form their monastery because they did not agree with the peaceful ways of the other monks and has been brawling in taverns and fight clubs for gold and glory. Their name Adran Goldpedal and they are a wood-elf.
I would be interested. I am fairly new to dnd. would like to play either a half-elf or dwarf paladin. Family was killed in a raid. was on the streets for a while until a kindly Paladin took me in and taught me his ways. Three years ago Grimlick (friendly paladin) went off to look into some unsolved murders. He has since gone missing and presumed dead. I now take the oath of vengence and I will fine the ones responsible for this crime and I will end their miserable existence.
Hope to hear from you

I'm sorry if the summary is too long or short!
