Hello there! 

I have been looking to DM these modules for a while. Beginners welcome! This will be a fairly chill and laid-back campaign. I am looking to use Discord for voice chat and Roll20 for maps. 

I want to stay true to collaborative story-telling aspect of this wonderful game. As the DM, I will bring in descriptions and narratives to make it feel like an immersive experience. I expect the players to participate and be true advocates for their characters. 

I want to keep the sessions under 3 hours.

Modules played or would like to play: Have only played homebrew campaigns, interested in Last Order at the Yawning Portal, sounds like a fun time.

Character Concept: A Wild Mage Sourcer who is actually a child trapped in an adult's body (Body Swapping or some time travel shenanigans). They don't really know how to control their powers yet and have many surges because of it.

Character concept [Its ok if you don't have any]: Nichole's had an idea for a Bard/Sorcerer multiclass that was pretty cool. I (Kris) have a few ideas that I think could be fun, like a Kobold Storm Sorcerer with the lofty goals of supplanting his tribe's Blue Dragon as its leader. In truth, though, we are both open to playing a wide variety of characters based on what the rest of the party would like to play.

D&D experience: Nichole has played a variety of tabletop games ranging from Pathfinder, Vampire: The Masquerade, Mage: The Awakening, and D&D 3.5. The two of us have been playing the newer 5th edition for a few years now through a handful of different campaigns.

Modules played or would like to play: We have both played Curse of Strahd (or at least a portion of it), the introduction to the Mines of Phandelver, the Sunless Citadel, Horde of the Dragon Queen, and we are just about to finish Rise of Tiamat. We've also been involved in an ongoing Monster Hunter-themed homebrew campaign that's been pretty fun. As far active interests, we're pretty open and excited to play whatever is out there.

Fun fact about yourself: Well, the two of us are married, so we'd come as a package deal, though we don't let that relationship affect our roleplay as characters. My wife and I are also both huge Critical Role fans and love to dive down rabbit holes, theorizing.
