My name is Brian Knowles and I offer you the chance to explore a "wonderful land" that I've been writing about for three years now, called Purgatory. If you like Alice in Wonderland, and are fans of animes like One Piece, Bleach, and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, then perhaps my challenge is for you. Feel free to ask me any questions about what's in store.
I plan this to be a campaign, and since D&D will allow me to get my lore out there, I we be tweaking some rules around and creating new races to fit my story.
You're welcome to join, but I have LOTS to prepare for as I want to make the maps and draw out the NPCs. I'm currently going through college and I'll leave my campaign open for anyone willing to work with me.
Thank you, I do ask for your patience as I'm juggling this with college as well and I'm a fairly new Dungeon Master. Also my campaign is in it's rough draft phase.
Hi! I’m a 22 year old female with decent experience!! I’m very interested in your cool world! I’m usually free Tuesdays and Saturdays, I usually play healer based classes or a Paladin (though they also heal).
First, I want to say thank you for the amount of interest you've been giving me. As someone with autism, and have been wanting to tell epic stories ever since he was a little boy, It feels like my dream is coming true before my very eyes.
So here's my game plan. I have a Roll20 account and it's where the bulk of the adventure will be. If anyone has experience with Roll20 I'd appricate some tips & tricks. Hell, if anyone makes assets and are willing to help me out with map making, then message me by all means. Next, I've noticed that some of you have discord servers, and it's perfect for how I want to implement my saved video game battle music. My biggest issue with Roll20 right now is how token images work. If any of you have watched any of Arcadum's D&D streams, you'd know that the token is the image of the character handout but zoomed in on the head. If there's a way to something like that in Roll20, please tell me.
I think the last thing to do is to tell you all what you're in for. The tone of Purgatory Chronicles will be mature, and the setting will be very weird, "bizarre" one could say. In my world, if you want something to exist, you can find it. So to recap, I appreciate your support, I'm running the game on Roll20 and would like some help, Discord servers will be valuable, and my game is rated "M" for mature.
This does sound very interesting! I love the concept! :D
I don't have any experience with Roll20, but for mapmaking I would highly suggest Inkarnate and for floorplans/battlemaps, I would advise using Dungeonscrawl (Both tools are free).
(Sadly, I don't play Mature campaigns, but the idea sounds absolutely amazing! I wish you well!)
Life is very busy unfortunately, gone from most Pbp's indefinitely. If you'd like to contact me, I am on Discord at GreatAxeblade#7595, always happy to chat :)

Sure. I hope you're aware that I'm fairly new to DMing and my campaign is in its development stage.
