hello there, I am a fairly new player to Dungeons and Dragons and hopes to join a game and meet people. I know people who play the game with other players and would love to be part of a group.
Basic information: I am in my late twenties, I am comfortable with a game that has LGBTQ+ vibe to it, I will bring a kind and pleasant attitude to the group though it may take a small while to open up and will try to breath as much life in my characters to the game. I live in California so I am on Pacific coast time and available to play Saturday to Monday (this might change due to work and will let the group know in advance).
Some of the character's I may play is a Drow Elf Rogue thief, a human warlock that is a patron to an Elder God, Lizard Gladiator, maybe something else
I would also like to add some of the pop culture things I am into just to get a better feel of who I am as a person (movies, music, books, etc.)
Favorite movies: Lord of the Rings Trilogy (+the hobbit series), A Knights Tale, Serenity, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Star Wars, Star Trek, Marvel movies (Guardians of the Galaxy is my favorite), Oh Brother Where Art Thou?, Wrist Cutters: a love story (its a good movie, good suggestion), The Producers, Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles, Chicago, Blues Brothers, Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Favorite Music/groups: Tom Waits, Tom Petty, Queen, The Who, Johnny Cash, the Beach Boys, Pink Martini, David Bowie, R.E.M., Rush, Talking Heads, Blues Brothers, Floggin' Molly, The White Stripes, Weezer. I also have a bunch of favorite songs from multiple artists. I also like bard kind of music just for fun.
Games: Bioshock series, Final Fantasy XV, Tales of Symphonia, Jedi: Fallen Order, Mass Effect
Books: The Picture of Dorian Gray, Timekeeper Trilogy, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Carmella. A good amount of short stories by H.P. Lovecraft such as The Alchemist, The Shadow over Insmouth, Call of Cthulhu, At the Mountains of Madness, the Color out of Space.
Feel free to hit me up on Discord to discuss scheduling. I'm hoping to find enough PST players to collaborate with. Please also be sure to include your DnD Beyond S/N when you message me, since I've sent a couple of these response posts out. Thanks, and I look forward to hearing back from you!
