Game: D&D 5e Group type: Face-to-face Experience: New / a few years / veteran - we are open to new players and experied player alike Location/Timezone: Greater Harrisburg/ Lancaster Area, Pennsylvania, USA Schedule: Every other Sunday from 12PM to about 6PM. Roles sought: Looking for one or more players to join our bi-monthly group. Players with DM experience are also welcome as we do occasionallyrotate DMs or co-DM. Game style: Varies, we lean towards the hack and slash as a group, but do involve a fair bit of role play. We try to create a game that all our players can enjoy, so we do take our player's gaming styles into consideration. We also don't take ourselves seriously and can get rough with our humor, so sensitive souls or children would not be appropriate fits for our group.
Game: With time constaints of being grown-ups, we have been sticking to established 5e adventure paths or 3rd party publishers. That busyness can cause a lot of variability in our attendance. As a result, we are always looking for someone new to help assure that we have a party size of at least 4-5 each game. We realize people have lives, families, vacations, etc, of course! Family members and couples are also welcome if they are so inclined.
Group- mixed ages, from 20 to 50 somethings at the moment, but we skew in the older direction. All are welcome! We most often play in the Enola area, but switch from time to time to Lancaster and other surrounding areas depending on who is hosting.
I'm interested, I live in MA though so it would have to be virtual. I've been playing since the Basic boxed set and To Keep on the Borderland, I love DnD and need an active campaign. I am, currently involved 2 other campaigns playing 5e that are semi active right now and it's stressful how many session just fail to meet. We use Dndbeyond, Roll20 and Discord and it works well. I roleplay usually as a rule. Please reach out to me for any questions if you need another.
We are definitely still looking for some additional players whether via remote using discord or in person. Let me know if you are interested! We already have one new player and would like a couple more to solidify our group.
I am not trying to crash your post but I couldn’t help reaching out since my group in the Harrisburg, PA area is looking to add another player.
We are all in our mid 40s and have many years of D&D experience between us but look at the game as an always learning/growing experience of shared fun. There are currently four of us that play every Thursday at my house in the D&D man cave; use a lot of Dwarven Forge terrain, miniatures, props, lighting, sound and environmental effects. We are currently running Rime of the Frost Maiden and could use another player as are gaming style has put us on our third set of characters in the campaign. Let me know if anyone would be interested in talking about the possibility of joining us. Regardless, I wish you well.
No problem, I greatly appreciate the invite! But I have a fairly big group going now and, sadly, my other half wouldn't be keen on an additional game taking time from the load of time I already put into the campaign I DM. Apparently she likes spending time with me. Thanks again!
I recently got started playing and am enjoying it. So I would certainly be open to joining any campaigns in the greater Harrisburg area (or virtually) if you're okay with a fairly newer player.
We have room for additional player if you are interested. We have some fairly new players along with some long time veterans. Feel free to PM me if you are still interested.
Let’s talk more and see if our game sounds like a good fit for you.
We game once per week on Thursdays at my house from 6pm-9pm. There are four of us all in our late 40s that live in the Harrisburg/Mechanicsburg area. Our game currently is Rime of the Frostmaiden with homebrew aspect thrown in. Around the table we mix the game up between various aspects of combat/exploration/RP encounters. Additionally, we use a lot of miniatures and terrain, with a heavy amount of lightning, sound and other such effects.
If this sounds like the type of game you would enjoy and fits your schedule let’s see about linking up.

Understandable it is cool that all our wives are flexible to our gaming fun! Good luck, be cool and be well.

Just to clarify, jobinv83049 has a separate group in the area.
Kicking this up again to see if there are any interested new players, since it been a while and we always have room for 1 or 2 more.
