Unfortunately I do shift work and it is very hard to co-ordinate a time a date to play a game, and I certainly wouldn't be able to DM a game.

Happy to discuss potential games with anyone that is flexible enough to be part of a group that might only be able to play once every three or four weeks.

I am out in the Casey area (Berwick, Cranbourne, Narre Warren) as well, and am keen to join a group who would be open to teaching a new player like myself to play! Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately I didn't say I was in the Casey area, and as mentioned, I haven't been able to form a group due to harsh shift work rostering.

If I had a group, I would happily accept beginners.
