Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online (Discord and Roll20) Experience: I’m welcoming more experienced players who haven’t yet played Dragon Heist or Strahd Location/Timezone: Any time zone is fine, as long as you can fit the schedule Schedule: Wednesday at around 4-5 PM PST, with roughly 3-4 hour games Roles sought: Looking for players (at least 4) Game style: Both Waterdeep and Strahd are heavy roleplay experiences and as such, do not come into this looking for a lot of hack and slash. It’s a lot of role play and exploration and story with bits of combat
I’ve been looking to run Curse of Strahd for a long time, and I got a great idea in doing so from the internet and close friends, with starting by playing Waterdeep Dragon Heist, and once the module finishes, jump right into Strahd. I’ve ran and read Dragon Heist throughly and have put a lot of prep time into the game, so I’m ready to throw some eager roleplayers into the mix and have a fun story!
You don’t have to be very experienced to want to play, but at least know how to make and roleplay a character, as this will be a story with a lot of rp, and inexperience in that may make the game difficult for you. If you’re eager to learn and grow and feel ready though, feel free to get into contact with me!
If you’re interested in the game and the schedule and style fits with you, send me a private message on DnDBeyond with your timezone, experience, age, and information you think is important for me as a DM to know. If I think you’re good for the game, I’ll be more than happy to share my Discord with you so you can join my server. The session zero will be on Wednesday, May 12th, with session number 1 happening the following week on the 19th.
It looks like I'm at least the eighth person (approximately) to respond to this forum post with some degree of interest in potentially serving as a player. Are you still considering new players for your campaign, @ShanePabloTheFifth2099?

I'm interested. I've always wanted to play in the Waterdeep setting.
I've played different role playing games since the 1980's, but my first official "D&D" game was the 3.5 edition.
Pm sent to Dm, thank you and hope you have a good day
Send a PM! This looks really cool
