New to D&D

Hi! I'm Matt. I'm new to the world of D&D, and I'm looking for a group that's willing to help me learn the ropes of the game, and help me get better at role-playing.

I've never played D&D before, and I'm trying to learn how to play/role-play. A few things to know about me are: 1. I am very introverted. I have a really hard time talking or acting around other people, and I'm not really good at acting in the first place. 2. I'm new to D&D. Like I've never played, only really used the D&D Beyond character builder to make my very first character, and haven't actually gotten into any of the main components of the game. I have listened to multiple D&D campaign podcasts, but have never truly done any of it myself. and 3. I'm bad at acting. Like really bad. Like, I've never done it at all. So I'm really hoping that by playing D&D I can learn how to, and be able to play with some sort of immersion.

Hopefully I didn't completely bore anyone who's reading this. Sorry if I did.
