Looking for fellow college students to play in a DnD Campaign!

Game: D&D 5e
Group type: Online (Over Discord and primarily theatre of the mind, but I may have a few maps available)
Experience: A few years / beginner
Location/Timezone: Chicagoland Area, Central Standard Time
Schedule: Looking to meet maybe once or twice a week depending on schedules, and during the school year I'm looking for once a week.
Roles sought:  Looking for about 4 or 5 players!
Game style: The game will be more focused on Roleplay, with challenging combat elements. The goal is to immerse ourselves in a fun narrative that everyone will enjoy.

Thanks for reading so far! Let me tell you a bit about myself, what I'm seeking, and some of the rules the world consists of.

Me: I'm currently a sophomore in college and I have been playing Dungeons and Dragons since my junior year of high school. I've run both physical campaigns as well as virtual ones during the pandemic. I have also been a Paid DM from time to time, running Curse of Strahd and even Lost Mines of Phandelver for beginners. I'm also studying Theatre, English, and Education in college.

What I'm looking for: I'm looking for fellow college students who are interested in playing some Dungeons and Dragons, as well as making some cool friends. Your level of experience with the game can be anything- complete newbie all the way to veteran.  You'll have to have a discord account as that's where we'll be meeting and playing on.

The Campaign: The world is still a work-in-progress, but I am 95% completed. By the time we form an established group, everything will be finalized. The world is known as Chamon, and the continent Kyraneth. Essentially, an elven dynasty rules the continent with an iron fist, backed by goliath and orcs. The humans and dwarves have been forced to live under their rule for thousands of years, with any whispers of rebellion quickly stifled. Players are free to explore the continent in the playstyle that falls into both sandbox and a narrative story. You can pick to play as 1 of 5 races: human, elf, dwarf, goliath, or orc. However, we are utilizing TCoE's ability score modification so your race doesn't define your statistics. You can roll your stats on Avrae in the discord server, and I can help you make a character you enjoy using DnDBeyond's full capabilities, as I have the Legendary Bundle and will enable content share.
