Hi, I'm Quinn, or Roark, or whatever you want to call me until I correct you. I'm 20, going to college for business marketing, and I'm DMing a Curse of Strahd campaign. We play 6pm CST every Wednesday. A player of ours recently decided to leave (to nobody's disappointment), and I am looking to fill a slot in the party. P.S.: I've been DMing for about 2 years.
Currently our players consist of 3 guys, and 1 girl. I don't give two shits what gender you are, I'm just letting you know the makeup of the players. Additionally, the characters consist of a reborn dragonborn oath of vengeance paladin, tiefling gloom stalker ranger, tiefling shadow sorcerer, and owlfolk order of the mutant blood hunter.
As the current campaign is placed in Curse of Strahd, I want to emphasize the importance and prevalence of horror themes in our game. Curse of Strahd is also one of the most deadly modules (which I have made sure to keep in the spirit of Ravenloft), and there is a high possibility of your character dying A LOT FASTER than you intend them to. So before you post something about the character you've been waiting to play for years, please recognize that your character will most likely die in a horribly vicious, and very painful way. Our campaign is probably 70% roleplay, and 30% combat. This might change since the group is leaving a town currently, but who knows at this point? Lastly, if you're thinking, 'Wow! This sounds cool, but is Curse of Strahd a long campaign?', of course it isn't you babbling buffoon! But if the players would like to continue playing their characters after they finish this campaign, cool. Let's do it.
If you'd still like to join after that last paragraph, wonderful! Now ask yourself if you're at least 18 years old, don't think Roleplaying means using a funny voice, and you're interested in gameplay that takes and gives to players who play proactively. If you said yes to those, sick. Move those soft squeezable eyes on down buckaroo.
You can come to the table with a character idea in mind, and you and I will smooth the rough edges around them. If you'd like more information about character creation preferences, and what is and isn't allowed, SPLENDID! That means you want to add me on Discord: Roarkt#1018. Any questions or comments about joining should be sent to me on Discord.
I'm absolutely interested in playing I sent you a friend request on discord. I have about 10 years of playing experience and am 32. My discord is @Maddogs1989#1556
